New Stuff for 2010

So starting with 2010, our show archives are going to be in blog form. For one, the website page with the archives is getting to big and makes the computer cry when I edit it, and this way you will be able to direct link to a show, AND leave comments if so desired. There will still be links to it on our archive page, though. Oh, yeah, and you could follow the blog or subscribe to the RSS feed to be alerted to when it updates.

And we have release Volume 2 of The Dave and Joe Show. Local live music and interviews, music videos, some national acts; like The Agonist, some roller girls, a wrestler, and all hosted by Joe and Dave. Go to our Xtreme Soundscapes site for this and much more, or just watch Vol 2 below.

New Shows

We have three shows coming up at The Haunt this summer. First, in connection with Binary, the Haunt's Goth night, we have Psyche Corporation from NYC on Sunday, July 12th. Only $3 at the door and doors are at 9pm. Psyche Corporation will go on around 10:30 or 11...

Then, on Friday, July 31st, we have Break of Reality, 3 cellos and a percussionist from NYC. Check out their clips we have on our YouTube page to sample just how amazing this band is. Also on that night, headlining will be Cortland rockers New Animal. There will be one more band added, we are just waiting for confirmation. The show is only $5 and Break of Reality start promptly at 10pm.

The 31st is also the tentative date for the launch of our new DVD series. Xtreme Soundscapes ended awhile back. This new series will be called The Joe and Dave Show, or some derivative thereof. More details and online viewing will be available at the Xtreme Soundscapes Site.

And finally, on Friday, August 21st we have Others, Angels Beneath Me, and Murder Squad T.O. playing, possibly with one more.

Obviously, we have a lot going on, and a whole new redesigned Xtreme Soundscapes page, with all kinds of live stuff and interviews on it. Hope to see you at some of the shows!

Tonight on The Last Exit for the Lost we will have À Rebours up to the studio. They will be playing some live material as well as joining us on the air. Check out their MySpace now...

The Last Exit will be pre-recorded for the first couple of hours. There will of course be awesome music played, and we WILL be live after 2am. Just not sure exactly when as we are all going to see the final Punch Drunk Monkeys show at The Downtown Quarterback in Endicott...

Been trying to catch up overall, the archives for The Last Exit for the Lost and The Metallic Onslaught should be almost completely up to date now. I have a new Best of CD I still have to upload, just need to put the finishing touches on it. And the live show section, which will lead to the old Xtreme Soundscapes page is not done yet. We are also starting work on our new DVD project, the Dave and Joe show, soon.

This week on The Last Exit we have Zadoc... and the Nightmare coming to join us for our We Love Satan show, and I believe Chaos Came to Be from Rochester may be stopping up too. Next Friday, Zadoc will be playing with Check Engine, Try.Fail.Repeat, and New Animal at The Haunt. It's a Last Exit show and it is also New Animal's CD Release Show.

Ok, so the Last Exit page is finally ALMOST up to date. The 2008 Archive is back, the 2009 one is up to date. Finally added in the media section, with all the best of CD and DVD's, and our music videos. Added the People on the Show and Contact sections. More stuff coming soon...

So, this will be the forum for updates for our pages from now on. That includes The Last Exit for the Lost, The Metallic Onslaught, Xtreme Soundscapes (which will soon be redone), and the main Aethyric Productions page and movies. Xtreme Soundscapes will be redone to host also the Last Exit live material, and will still have all the DVD's available to watch and download. We are also in the process of finally starting our next DVD series, tentatively, The Joe and Dave Show. That should be something. I will say, if you liked XS, you will probably like this, although it will be sillier, but with more bands and shorter interviews. I am also starting a blog for news, reviews, interviews, etc. You will be able to access this from The Last Exit and Metallic Onslaught pages. As for now, check out the video for our March 7th show at castaways...
